Voter Education Initiatives

Democracy Education Network (DEN) undertakes voter education initiatives with the aim of increasing voter turnout in provincial and federal elections. These initiatives started in 2015 with the federal Canadian election during which DEN's VoteParty.ca and VotePromise.ca initiatives reached 3.5 million voters with the message to help a non-voter vote.

DEN's voter education initiatives reached 700,000 voters during the 2018 Ontario provincial election.

DEN's voter education initiatives reached 1.5 million people during the 2019 federal election, and 1.3 million people during the 2021 federal election.

In the 2025 federal Canadian election, DEN launched a new voter turnout initiative called VoteChallenge.ca.
